Absolutely! We understand that students may have a desire to extend their stay and explore other destinations beyond the program itinerary. While it is possible to arrange for additional days, it’s important to note that any extra days would be the responsibility of the students, including all associated expenses such as accommodation, meals, transportation, and activities.

How much should I prepare for extra days beyond the program duration?

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience during the additional days, we recommend budgeting around $500 per week. What are the distinctions between a program coordinator and a tour guide?

While both a program coordinator and a tour guide play essential roles in facilitating a meaningful experience, there are notable differences between their responsibilities. A program coordinator is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the overall program logistics, operations, and coordination. A program coordinator works closely with the organizing team, host organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of the program.

On the other hand, a tour guide is primarily responsible for providing guided tours and delivering information about specific destinations and attractions. A tour guide’s role involves leading groups of participants on sightseeing tours, and sharing interesting facts, stories, and cultural context about the places visited.
